This poster, which urges people to boycott the Philippine Daily Inquirer, has been posted at one of the branches of Taps, one of the more popular “tapsilog” restaurants in Davao City. The poster reads: “Holier Than Thou? Irresponsible journalism kills.” Supporters of Davao Archbishop Fernando Capalla are said to be behind the posters attacking Inquirer columnist Conrado de Quiros, who had criticized Capalla for refusing to take a stand against President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
