Evelyn Carias, spokesperson of the Moro women group Khadidja, denounces the United States during a rally in Davao City on Monday. Progressive groups in the rally said the “Baker Piston” training organized by the U.S. military in Davao City, which is supposedly for the training of Filipino police officers in fighting illegal drugs, is a ruse for U.S. military intervention in the country.
