Several women and health groups in Davao City held last Monday, May 29, a health fair to mark the 19th International Day of Action for Women’s Health. The event was held at the NCCC Mall and was organized by, among others, Gabriela, Talikala, Women Studies and Resource Center, Alagad Mindanao, the Mindanao Working Group on Reproductive Health, Gender and Sexuality, and Lawig Bubai. Among the services offered to the public that day were circumcision, blood typing, dental services, eye checkups, Pap smear, herbal medicines and other health services.
