DAVAO CITY — The New People’s Army (NPA) in Southern Mindanao has denied the accusation made by the police that it was behind the murders this week of George and Maricel Vigo, development workers and former journalists in Kidapawan City.
Instead, the NPA pointed to North Cotabato governor Emmanuel Piol and officials of the military as the perpetrators.

political harrasment in kidapawan? of course!! I am an american expat living here in sandawa with my wife and 2 children and was happy and felt safe until a driver for a city hall official of kidapawan rented the house next to my home ( that my wife and I own) moved in. since then we have been continuosly harassed by them. I feel that the driver was just a plant by kidapawan city hall to force us out of kidapawan! how else could a simple driver with a wife 2 kids 3 nannys a mother inlaw living with them 2 cars, afford P5000 a month rent!
