MILF Decries Government ‘Insincerity’ in Talks

Contrary to the Arroyo administration�s claims that the peace process between the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front is progressing, the Moro group today lambasted the government for �offering nothing but rhetoric� in the negotiations. Mohagher Iqbal, the group�s chief negotiator, told luwaran.com that the Arroyo regime �is not solving the problem of the Bangsamoro people.� The talks in Kuala Lumpur broke down last week after both sides failed to come up with any consensus on the contentious issue of ancestral domain.
