Protests greet Arroyo in Japan over continued killings

Protesters greeted President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as she visited Japan this week. These Japanese activists in Tokyo denounced the continued killings and disappearances of political activists in the Philippines, despite repeated assurances by the president that her administration was doing something to stop the violence.
