Abducted pastor is in PNP custody

MANILA, Philippines — The Rev. Berlin Guerrero, the activist pastor of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines, called his family this afternoon and told them that he is in police custody in Camp Pantaleon, Imus, Cavite, according to the partylist group Bayan Muna.

Guerrero was abducted by unidentified armed men in a plateless vehicle on Sunday moments after a service at his church in Binan, Laguna.
