DAVAO CITY — Writers and photographers from different Asian scuba diving magazines are arriving here on June 4-5 to check the diving sites in Davao City and at the Island Garden City of Samal.

“They will be helping us to promote our diving sites through their different magazines,” said Wind and Wave Davao general manager Richard Agraba.

The writers and photographers, who are also scuba divers, will be accompanied by the Wind and Wave Davao, the only PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Dive Center in Mindanao.

They will be billeted at the world famous Pearl Farm Beach Resort.

They are representing the Australasia Scuba Diver, Scuba World, Taiwan Web Site, Asian Diver and KCTV.

They are expected to dive the World War II ship wreck at Talomo, Mansud Wall, Kaputian Beach, Pangubatan and Mushroom Rock.

They will also have a night dive at the 80-footer Beng’s Corner on June 1.

After their two-day dive in Davao, they will fly to Palau for
another diving trip.
