Ask this Guy (michael Kho) who truly owns this Government-controlled corporation.
might this is just a front line for a personal business using government resources for their personal gains and interest.. including their relatives and friends.

Do you know Lucio Co? Who doesn’t! He’s a business tycoon and an associate of Michael Kho. Nothing, I just mentioned it.
Senators of the Philippines, this is bigger that ZTE scam. Try to investigate and Filipino people will vote you again into presidency come 2010.
Tip: VIEWPOINT is private entity and managed by POYEE ZERRUDO. Sounds like Popeye. (laugh)
This duty free shop in davao is a front-line in one of the biggest smuggling industry in the country.
How? Imported goods that reach the hand of this private individuals are duty-free and custom-free using this GOCC.
and how do they use the GOCC fund? Building, promotions (like the one published in this daily), launching and utilizing the Duty Free earnings are diverted from the supposedly intended to support the country’s tourism industry into their own enrichment. Mr. Ombudsman, wake up! wake up!
News came that COA officials are very much aware of this. They were very visible in the activities.
Michael Kho- a scandaled and ‘kapit-tuko’ general manager of Duty Free has several suspension orders from different government agencies. But why he still there?
Next time, it is about the the most powerful religious clan that resides in Duty Free.
Duty Free Philippines known as DFP, clustered most of the non-efficient, less-knowledgeable and ignorant officers and employees about their jobs.
Pity on those who are!!!!

If that is true, I think the Senate should make an investigation regarding this matter. If I’m not mistaken, there had been several corruption issues surrounding Duty Free in the past involving its GM. The smuggled cars in Subic was a big national issue and this could be bigger considering that imported goods come in duty and tax free, operating using government funds for the benefit of a private individual and its allies?

Im a Davaoeno.
That’s why Im worried with this unfair trade. During the launch of their extension outlet, I was there. Mr. Kho shared his vision ‘to provide a duty and tax-free world-class items’ to Davao.
Shame. He and his allies benefit from this.
