This barangay ID card, which contains the photo and personal information (such as address, blood type, height, SSS, TIN and contact numbers) of the holder is already being distributed in the city barangays of Catalunan Grande and Wilfredo Aquino. The cards issued to residents include the photo of Paolo Duterte, the president of the Association of Barangay Councils and son of the city mayor. Kadamay, the urban-poor group, urged the young Duterte to recall the ID and stop the implementation of the barangay ID system, saying that it raises privacy concerns and violates civil liberties. This is a good ID system - why don’t you just say you would like the friggin picture of the duterte guy taken out- but don’t take the advantages of having an official Picture ID away from the residents - Are you DUMB? having an ID is important for legitimate existence. Get Real - you know why it is necessity, you just don’t want it with the back photo - Hadlok man diay ka - nag sulat ka pa! It’s media people like you that ruin the integrity of the industry - Rason rason.

read the caption of the picture again. what gave you the idea that all davaotoday wants is to take out duterte’s picture? we just published it as it is. having said that, did it ever occur to you that the ID is redundant? (the info there are SSS, TIN, address, name, birthday, etc. — things that are already on existing government-issued cards like SSS). apparently, the whole point of duterte’s ID system is precisely so he could put his picture there! now, let me ask you again — ARE YOU DUMB OR WHAT?
and the next time you accuse us of being cowards and of ruining the integrity of the industry (you sound like you are a journalist yourself — i wonder what paper or station you represent), use your real name.

That’s a nice ID if without the photo of any politician…but it is better if Davao City will implement a City ID system which will show as proof of being a Davawenyo and this city id will be use for all transactions in the city… To City Council..GO FOR DAVAO CITY IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM….

u dont have to quarrel anymore guys nobody is dumb just mis informed. I have a memo to all the barangays who wants the i.d. System not to include my pic at the back. Thanks and relax.
