BREAKING NEWS
Rep. Crispin Beltran of the AnakPawis party-list group died this morning after falling off the roof of his house in Bulacan. Relatives said he was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced “brain dead” due to severe head injuries. He died at 11:48 this morning, doctors said. Beltran was checking the roof for leaks when the accident happened, one of his daughters said. The 75-year-old Beltran had been the country’s most popular labor leader, having led the leftist Kilusang Mayo Uno for years.
