Fascist troops under the 1003rd Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) arrested two civilians last July 31 and misrepresented them as members of the New People’s Army (NPA.

Arnel Suminggel and Boyen Suminggel were residents of sitio Kapatagan, Barangay Gupitan in Kapalong,Davao del Norte.

The Davao-Agusan Command-NPA denounces this latest charade. The AFP has resorted to presenting bogus NPAs or bogus NPA surrenderees as armed revolutionary movement continues to gain momentum nationwide. As the AFP continues to trample human rights and use civilians in their counterrevolutionary operations, the Filipino masses are ever more agitated to support and join the revolutionary struggle.
