DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Following its recent match against the Stallion Laguna Football Club in Biñan, Laguna on Sunday, June 18, the Davao Aguilas Football Club (DAFC) are back in Davao to play three home games at the Davao del Norte Sports Complex this week.

The Aguilas arrived at the Francisco Bangoy International Airport here Monday afternoon. The homegrown football club will face three teams from the north on June 21, June 25 and June 28.

The homegrown football club will face the FC Meralco Manila on June 21 led by Phil and James Younghusband, 4pm on June 21.

On June 25, the DAFC will put up a fight with the Ilocos United Football Club, the second time these teams will go against each other. Their last match ended in a draw, with a score of 1-1.

Lastly, the Aguilas will go up against the former UFL champs, Global Cebu Football Club for the first time on June 28.

Former Global FC players Richard Talaroc and Andy Esswein are currently with Davao Aguilas FC. The last home match of Davao Aguilas FC drew a crowd of 4,384 local supporters.

The Aguilas was established early this year as a professional football club. The coaching staff is headed by Gary Philips, an Australian football veteran, CEO Ramon Manuel, and chairman, Jefferson Cheng.
