3-hour power outage set in Panabo, Carmen on Nov. 26

TAGUM CITY, Philippines—A three-hour power interruption on November 26, Sunday will be implemented in Panabo City and Carmen in Davao del Norte province, the Aboitiz-owned Davao Light and Power Company (DLPC) announced on Friday, November 24.

The DLPC said the first set of service disruption will be for 15 minutes only, which is from 2:30 a.m to 2:45 a.m and from 4:45 a.m to 5:00 a.m.

Customers connected to San Vicente Substation will be affected to facilitate the transfer load from Davao Light’s mobile transformer to the new 33MVA San Vicente transformer. The DLPC said the load transfer will be put in place to avoid longer duration of power interruption.

DLPC customers from San Vicente Substation going to Tadeco road up to Barangay Tubod including Panabo public market and Paquibato area will be affected.

Meanwhile, a 2.5-hour power interruption will be implemented on the same day from 2:30 a.m to 5:00 a.m affecting customers from from San Vicente Substation going to Panabo wharf and from Sto. Niño Elementary School going to Carmen proper up to Bincungan. (davaotoday.com)
