Asian confab introduces Mind Education’ as anti-drug program

TAGUM CITY, Philippines — The International Youth Fellowship in partnership with the City Government of Tagum conducted the Asian Conference on Dangerous Drug Abuse Prevention and Recovery Program on April 17-18, 2018 held at the Big 8 Corporate Hotel, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

The conference was participated by representatives of the Philippine National Police, Philippine Army, Bureau of Corrections, Department of Education, Department of Health, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Local Government Unit of Tagum, Religious Organization and the Barangay Officials.

The conference presented various operational programs against illegal abuse.

With the theme “Mind Education: New Approach to Drug War”, the conference presented new techniques in eradicating drug abuse in the Philippine through mental health programs.

International Youth Fellowship President in the Philippines Kyung Hyun Nam said, Mind Education is the key in strengthening the nations fight against illegal drugs.

Rev. Ock Soo Park, the founder of the International Youth Fellowship said, “the human heart is composed of two opposing parts: positive and negative. If one of this will win the weak part of the heart will be destroyed. We in the International Youth Fellowship wants to give a happy heart to all of youth all over the world.”
