A teacher and an elderly lost their motorcycle and gun respectively in two separate incidents of theft in Tagum City Tuesday.

Jelord Dinolan, 24, and a resident of Barangay Magugpo, Tagum City said that at around 7:00 in the morning he was about to go to work when he learned that his red Honda XRM motorcycle was stolen.

His landlord asked him if his motorcycle was borrowed prompting Dinolan to check where he parked the motorcycle. The case was already forwarded to the provincial Highway Patrol Group of Davao del Norte.

Meanwhile, an elderly from Barangay La Filipina also complained of theft after his .45 caliber pistol was stolen from his house.

Rudy Gallardo, 66, discovered that around 6:00 am, his gun was missing together with some cash amounting to P5,000. Gallardo believes the suspect gained access through the window.
