DAVAO CITY — The Ateneo de Davao University will host the advance screening of the documentary of President Rodrigo Duterte’s first 50 days on Thursday morning, August 18.

The documentary was produced by the Presidential Communications Office for the #50FirstDays campaign “to  highlight the achievements, and milestones of President Rodrigo Duterte’s administration since his assumption to office on June 30.”

“This will be the first time that an incumbent President will showcase his achievements even with only two months coming into the presidency,” the PCO said in a statement.

Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said they are confident that even at an early stage “we have effected change in our government while calling everyone to be our partner for change.”

The PCO will release a documentary on PTV-4 on Thursday, August 18 at 12:00 noon, but the advance screening will be hosted by the AdDU at the Finster Hall at 9:00 am.

The event will be graced by Ateneo De Davao President Fr. Joel E. Tabora S.J. and the Davao Jesuit Community, Secretary Andanar, Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella, Assistant Secretary Ramon Cualoping III, officials of Davao City, and 500 members of the academe.

The documentary is narrated by Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella and feature insights from cabinet secretaries, other government officials, as well as the ordinary Filipinos who have hoped for change to come through his promise of change.

An interactive website containing the administration’s achievements will also be launched on the President’s 50th day in office.
