DAVAO CITY, Philippines – Anti-narcotics operatives here recovered P375,000 worth of shabu from a woman in a buy-bust operation on Wednesday, January 16, at a military checkpoint in Davao City.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency(PDEA)-Region 11 identified the woman as Papaladun M. Disamberen, 37, a resident of Barangay Basak, Malutlut, Marawi City.

Atty. Behn Joseph O. Tesiorna, officer-in-charge of the PDEA 11, said Disamberen was included in the watchlist of drug personalities. She was noted as a big-time drug trafficker operating in Marawi City.

Seized from Disamberen were five large and a small plastic sachets of shabu weighing a total of 25 grams at the Task Force Davao checkpoint in Barangay Lacson, Calinan.

Tesiorna said the agency conducted a surveillance after they received a text report from a Davao City resident regarding Disamberen’s operation.

She is currently detained at the PDEA 11 detention facility.

Disamberen will face charges of violation of the Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (davaotoday.com)
