DAVAO CITY – More than 1,000 senior citizens in Panabo City received their social pension for the second quarter of the year on Wednesday.
A total of 1,100 indigent senior citizens had received their social pension amounting to P1,500 or P500 monthly for this quarter’s grant through cash pay-out spearheaded by the city social welfare and development office (CSWDO).
The age requirement for senior citizens has been lowered from 77 to 65 years old this year.
