Today’s View: A Case of Molesting a Precious Jewel

It is regrettable that the US commits this show of disregard to our sovereign rights — a treatment that ill-deserves the little brown brother’s loyal deference to the Big Brother.  To be sure, it is another act of insensitivity — or is it a willful disrespect? — that smears the colors of the emblem of equality among nations and races around the globe. At worst, it smacks of superpower arrogance.

More irregularities in DSWD rehab for Pablo victims raised

Romulo Serot and his son Remly, volunteers of the DSWD’s cash-for-work program after they lost their house, were surprised to learn that they received an amount lower than what the department’s liquidation report posted. What appalled them more was someone else signed the job orders for them.
