DAVAO CITY – Two persons, including a minor, were stabbed dead in a neighborhood row at cramped S.I.R. Matina here Wednesday.
Police identified the victims as Jonel Villegas Lamar, 16, resident of Purok 38, Phase 2, and Kenie Jan Budadong Capungas, 21, resident of C2, Block 48, both of S.I.R.
The incident happened at 11:00 pm near the covered court when the group of one alias “Wawa” attacked and stabbed the victims. After the incident alias “Wawa” immediately left with his group.
Lamar sustained four stabs at the different portions of his body. He was rushed to the Southern Philippines Medical Center where he was declared dead. Capungas was rushed to the DMSF hospital and was later transferred to the SPMC for further treatment.
Lamar’s body was brought to the Rivera Funeral Homes in Licanan, Bunawan this city for autopsy.
Police arrested one of the suspects identified as Joshua Advincula Allado, 18, a resident of Block. 5, Phase 1, also of S.I.R.
