President Benigno Aquino, III got his lowest national approval and trust ratings since 2010 in the recent Pulse Asia survey.
The survey shows a 21% drop in the President’s approval ratings and 20% drop in his trust ratings.
Pulse Asia said one in four Filipinos is critical of presidential performance. From last November’s 11%, 23% of the respondents expressed disapproval towards Aquino this month. While, from 13% four months ago, 27% said they did not trust Aquino.
“This is the first time that the President has posted non-majority national approval and trust ratings in Ulat ng Bayan surveys since he was first rated as president by survey respondents back in October 2010,” Pulse Asia said.
The survey fieldwork was conducted from March 1 – 7, 2015 using face-to-face interviews. The survey is based on a sample of 1,200 representative adults 18 years old and above with a ± 3% error margin at the 95% confidence level.
