DAVAO CITY, Philippines – Beneficiaries of the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) will soon receive P600 cash for rice subsidy.
In a statement on Thursday, the Department of Social Welfare and Development said the rice subsidy will be given to all 4Ps beneficiaries nationwide “provided they are compliant with either health or education conditionality of the program.”
The rice subsidy is included in the cash grant that the households will receive every two months until December 2017.
At present, the DSWD in Davao Region has 233,757 household beneficiaries.
The DSWD also called on all Pantawid Pamilya Municipal/ City Links and all Pantawid Parent Leaders nationwide to ensure that the additional cash grants are used by the beneficiaries for its intended purpose.
Beneficiaries may coordinate with any City or Municipal Link assigned in their respective cities or municipalities to inquire about the rice subsidy.
