Ombudsman orders 90 Mindanao officials to explain illegal dump sites

The Office of the Environmental Ombudsman has ordered local officials from seven Mindanao local government units to explain on the complaint filed against them for violating the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act.

Solon challenges presidential candidates to end poverty

As the elections come near, the group said the next president should “realize a national democratic policy for the country, to be kicked off by genuine agrarian reform and national industrialization.”

Security forces in Davao get new vehicles  

A total of 39 brand new vehicles were given to the Army and the city police here on Wednesday, March 16.
