46 OFWs arrive in CDO via Balik Probinsya Program, 30 are put on isolation

Forty-six Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Northern Mindanao have arrived here from Luzon on Thursday, April 30, and some of them will have to undergo another round of quarantine before they are allowed to go back home.

Despite the national government’s move to ease the strict quarantine measures in some parts of the country, especially in Mindanao, some barangay chairpersons here have called on the local government to place the entire city under an enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) as a response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Authorities conduct sea patrol in Macajalar Bay amid COVID-19
