People clamor to end truce with gov’t—NPA

The New People’s Army, armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines, said communities across the country are clamoring to end the truce with government because the military continued to commit violations of the ceasefire declaration.

CPP at 48: ‘People’s democratic revolution’ essential to achieve lasting peace

The Communist Party of the Philippines formally launched Monday the “National Peace Assembly for Just and Lasting Peace” which highlights the importance of the “people’s democratic revolution” to achieving a genuine lasting peace.
