Davao to give tax reliefs for businesses affected by COVID-19

The Davao City Council is pushing for an ordinance to provide tax relief and incentives for business establishments in the city whose operations were disrupted due to the lockdown to address the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio allayed rumors that the city is opting a two-month enhanced community quarantine after May 31, the last day of the general community quarantine (GCQ).

Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio announced Wednesday night that the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) of Davao Region will be extended until April 26.

Mayor Sara fumes at motorists violating ECQ curfew

Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio took the issue of motorists driving past the curfew hours under the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) as she warned them that the city government will not shoulder their hospitalization if they get infected from coronavirus (Covid-19).
