Museo Dabawenyo opens

UNVEILING. The inauguration of the Museo Dabawenyo highlights the grand opening of Araw ng Dabaw celebration. Created through a city ordinance, the nine million peso building houses city artifacts, documents and other priceless objects that speak of the city's history, people and culture. Disease-causing toxin found in Davao, Gensan rice

The US FDA defines aflatoxin as toxic compounds produced by certain strains of the aspergillus fungus; it is toxic and carcinogenic. Exposure to high level of aflatoxin, according to the DOST, produces acute necrosis or tissue death, as well as cirrhosis and carcinoma of the liver.
