Women’s group slams Duterte’s ‘belated’ travel ban on China

President Rodrigo Duterte's decision to expand the country’s travel ban to visitors from mainland China and its administrative regions is a "very belated response" to the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak, the Gabriela Women’s Party-list said.

UCCP demands apology from Davao peace body

The Council of Bishops of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) demanded a public apology from the Regional Peace and Order Council of Region 11 (RPOC-11) for “besmirching the integrity” of the Christian denomination, and called for the urgent withdrawal of its “arbitrary resolution” ordering the shutdown of the UCCP-Haran Center here.
