Jeepney operators in Normin to receive P5,000 fuel subsidy from LTFRB

The national government has allocated P28 million that will benefit operators of more than 5,000 public utility jeepney (PUJ) units in Northern Mindanao under the Pantawid Pasada Program (PPP) of the government, according to the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-10 (LTFRB-10) on Tuesday, Aug. 28.

Korean ambassador bullish on peace dev’t in Korean Peninsula

Fishers seek withdrawal of Pinol’s galungggong import plan

A fisherfolk group asked on Friday Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol to withdraw the Fisheries Administrative Order 195 that allows the importation of 17,000 metric tons of scad or known locally as galunggong starting first week of September and December 31, in a bid to stabilize the fish’s price in the market.
