Gov’t bank to prioritize agrarian reform beneficiaries on financial loans

An official of Land Bank of the Philippines said Wednesday that farmers considered as Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) will be prioritized in terms of lending them a financial assistance.

HR group: Duterte’s ‘flatten the hills’ order endangers, targets civilians

A human rights group on Wednesday said that President Rodrigo Duterte’s order to “flatten the hills” and bomb the known lairs of the New People’s Army has endangered the lives and even could target civilians on the ground.
