Ateneo President: Philippine Mining Act is treason

Jesuit priest Fr. Joel Tabora called the Philippine Mining Act of 1995 treasonous and said that it is time for the government to replace the mining policy.

DENR suspends ?Surigao mining firm, audits three more in Mindanao

Environmental Secretary Regina Lopez announced that the DENR has suspended on Thursday, August 4 the Claver Mineral Development Corporation in Claver, Surigao del Norte.
