Bankerohan bridge construction in full swing

INITIATIVE. After almost a year of waiting, Davaoe?os are relieved to see that construction works of the Governor Generoso I in Bankerohan. Earlier, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte already gave up on finding funds for the P300 million bridge repair, supposed to be a project of the national government. When Duterte's political rival, Davao Rep. Prospero Nograles, assumed his post as the new House Speaker, signboards are installed in the project site, saying that the P206.64 million project, made possible through the initiative of the new House Speaker, will be finished on August 14 this year. Arroyo checks out Bankerohan bridge

Despite the drizzle, some 200 people await the arrival of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for over an hour near Gov. Generoso I bridge in Bankerohan.
