Survivor recounts NPA ambush in Bansalan

The lone survivor of the New People's Army's ambuscade in Bansalan town, Davao del Sur province appeared in a press conference on Wednesday to recount how he escaped the attack.

Moro group slams AFP as airstrike vs. BIFF displaces civilians

An initial investigation conducted by Suara Bangsamoro and Kawagib, a Moro human rights group, revealed that the military has dropped bombs in Barangay Andabit, Datu Saudi Ampatuan as early as 1 am on Monday, March 13.

NPA owns up ambush in Bansalan

In a statement released Friday night, Rigoberto Sanchez, spokesperson of the NPA Southern Mindanao Operations Command said the NPAs carried out an order “to exact revolutionary justice” against a certain Marlon Lomantas at 2:20 am whom they claimed is a former military man “turned active intelligence agent of the 39th IB and a known drug trader” in Barangay Sibayan.
