Gov’t, NDFP: ceasefire not enough

On the second day of the fourth round of the formal talks, a small group discussion of the negotiating panels from both sides of the government and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines lasted about 10 minutes before the panel returned on the table to discuss on the issue of ceasefire.

Violent Kidapawan dispersal is a ‘learning experience’ for new Davao police chief, Sara says 

City Mayor Sara Duterte stood by her appointee, Davao City Police Office Acting City Director Senior Superintendent Alexander Tagum on Tuesday, saying that Tagum's track record in the police force, including his controversial stint as provincial police chief of North Cotabato were among the factors that led to his appointment.
