GRP: 17 to 20 prisoners to be freed before 2017

The government peace panel said around 17 to 20 political prisoners will be released before the year ends.

CPP at 48: ‘People’s democratic revolution’ essential to achieve lasting peace

The Communist Party of the Philippines formally launched Monday the “National Peace Assembly for Just and Lasting Peace” which highlights the importance of the “people’s democratic revolution” to achieving a genuine lasting peace.
