ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol reported tonight on the gaining popularity of pit-bull fighting in Davao City and the denunciation of the practice by animal rights activists. Popular in many parts of the world, pit-bull fighting has been the subject of so much controversy. Some pet owners believe it is okay but others find it cruel and inhumane. A search of the phrase “pit bull fighting” on Google gives results that pretty much sum up the controversial nature of what some consider as a sport but others view as plain cruelty to animals.
