A four-minute video uploaded on a YouTube channel claimed the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was the “true hero” of the 1986 EDSA People Power.
Local activists held a rally on the 49th commemoration of Martial Law on September 21 in Freedom Park as they dissent against Duterte government’s atrocities to human right that they say is similar to the late dictator.
Grace Mahinay, an activist during the Martial Law said: “The arresting Sergeant was even proud that I was the first woman they tortured.”
