DAVAO CITY, Philippines – Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio in her speech during the Parada Davaoeño on Friday, emphasized that the Davaoeño “is the main strength of the city as its faces challenges”.

She also reiterated that it is not the land nor the infrastructures of the city that made its progress.

To contribute in nation building the mayor said that the people should be strong. This how a Davaoeño can contribute to her father’s administration.

“We have united, we have to be proud and we have to be resilient” she said.

The mayor also thanked the public in its active participation and support of the month-long activities as the city celebrate its 81st Araw ng Davao.

This years Parada Davaoeño was participated by around 300 contingents from different civic organizations, schools, companies and government offices.
