DAVAO CITY, Philippines — The festive mood in Davao City was ignited once again five days after the Kadayawan as members of the LGBT community paraded Friday wearing colorful costumes.
More than a hundred lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders joined the Pride March held here on Friday, Aug. 25. The LGBT community played music and danced on the streets as they called an end to discrimination.
Transgender women wore elaborate dresses and costumes as they paraded along Bolton Street towards the Rizal Park. They also carried a giant rainbow flag. The first Pride March here was held on June 1, 2016. (davaotoday.com)
