MANILA, Philippines — An electoral watchdog focusing on the overseas absentee voting polls today expressed fears over the strong possibility that the OAV ballots sent by mail will be used for massive cheating by the Arroyo administration.

?The OAV by mail is extremely prone to tampering. The fact that there are also thousands of Return to Sender (RTS) ballots that will diverted and re-sent through ?private couriers? heightens this likelihood,? says Maita Santiago, Migrants Watch Network Against Electoral Fraud and Violence (MigrantsWatch.Net) Spokesperson.

Group Files Motion to Intervene in Banana Firms’ Case vs Davao City Gov’t

Youths urge Davao bets to prioritize reproductive health

DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Davao Teen Center (DTC), together with the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP), demanded the local candidates of Davao City to include Reproductive Health (RH) policies as their top priority in their legislative agenda.

Jamail Lunar Macla, Youth Coordinator of DTC, pointed that this has been a long time struggle of young people in the city that the problem in reproductive health must be prioritized since there are no comprehensive local legislative order to arrest the said problem of the city.
