Davao region remains free from African Swine Fever (ASF), an official from the Department of Agriculture in the area (DA-XI) recently declared.

The satellite registration of voters in Indigenous People’s (IP) communities in Davao region was formally launched on Monday, September16 the Commission on Elections in the area (Comelec-XI) said.

Central 911 to open 5th satellite office for better response performance
The Central 911 in the City will eventually open a satellite office in a far-flung district to address the emergency and rescue needs in the hinterlands of the City’s third district, an official disclosed.
A woman who collects and sells recyclable materials as a main source of income for her family is dismayed over the recent price drop of the buying price of empty plastic bottles in the junk shops from 5 pesos to 3 pesos per bottle. Ban of single-use plastic sought for Davao City
Davao City produces 570 to 600 metric tons of waste daily, one fourth of these or 150 metric tons are single-use plastics.
