Davao Offers Cheapest Kidney Transplant

DAVAO CITY — Kidney specialists in the city have bared that Davao offers the cheapest kidney transplant in the country today.

Dr. Franklin Guillano, a nephrologist, revealed that the city has hospitals that offer kidney transplantations for about 500,000 pesos compared to Manila’s price range from 800,000 pesos up to one million pesos.

Mindanao Is a Great Source of Wushu Talents

P10-B Hydropower Projects for Davao Soon

Davao City (10 March) — Hydropower projects worth at least P10 billion will be put up soon and is expected to provide the power needs of Davao Light and Power Company.

The Hedcor Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Aboitiz Equity Ventures will be putting up the P5-billion Sibulan Hydropower project which would generate 42.5 Megawatts of electricity that is expected to supply 32% of the present power needs of Davao Light.

Microsoft Training, Certification Now in Davao

Davao City (9 March) — Key industry players engaged in information technology have brought to Davao the Microsoft training and certification that will make IT jobseekers have the edge over the others.

In a press briefing at The Marco Polo on Thursday, Jaime Garchitorena, general manager of Edupro said most of those wanting to get Microsoft training and certification from Davao have to fly to Manila which entail additional expense.
