Presidential Daughter and Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, as well as Special Assistant to the President Secretary Bong Go, cast their votes in separate voting precincts in Davao City for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections on Monday morning.
The authorities have deployed more or less 8,000 security forces in the entire region 11 for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

For sixty-five years the Masjid Assalam stood as the oldest existing mosque in Davao City until it was torn down on May 7 during the demolition in Salmonan.
The demolition of the 3,515-square meter plot in Barangay 26-C, Salmonan, Quezon Boulevard had pushed through despite the resident’s strong opposition early morning of May 07.
