Lumad group hits ‘persona non grata’ tag in Talaingod
A Lumad organization blamed the military for the persona non grata declaration issued against them by a council of Lumad elders in the municipality of Talaingod, Davao del Norte.

ADDENDUM. Davao City Police Office City Director Senior Superintendent Alexander Tagum says social media should be added to the coverage of the ordinance penalizing the act of recruiting members, expressing support, and the manufacture, possession, and distribution of propaganda materials of the Isis-linked Maute group, saying that they have monitored several of these propaganda materials being shared in social media networks such as Facebook. DCPO seeks inclusion of social media in coverage of anti-ISIS ordinance
Social media accounts of suspected terrorists will possibly be monitored once the city's "anti-Isis" ordinance is passed.

Militia involved in Lumad school attack now in Army’s custody
A member of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit who fired at the Salugpungan Ta Tanu Igkanogon Community Learning Center in Sitio Nasilaban, Barangay Palma Gil in Talaingod, Davao Del Norte is currently in the custody of the 1003rd Infantry Brigade on Wednesday, an army spokesman said.
