New BBL draft to be turned over to Duterte on July 17

Presidential Peace Adviser Jesus Dureza announced Tuesday that the draft of the new Bangsamoro Basic Law will finally be submitted to President Rodrigo Duterte on July 17, seven days before the State of the Nation Address and a day earlier that was previously set by the Palace.

49 of 400 political prisoners released so far

The Philippine government has granted Presidential pardon to 10 political prisoners last week, bringing to 49 the total number of political detainees released under the Duterte administration.
