Short power interruption up in Bangkal, Puan

DAVAO CITY — Power consumers in Bangkal and Puan here will experience a short power interruption on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

The Davao Light and Power Company Inc. announced on Monday, that it will conduct a 10-minute power interruption on Wednesday, from 12:01 a.m.up to 12:10 a.m. to facilitate the preventive maintenance servicing of Davao Light’s Bangkal Substation.

Customers from Talomo Bridge to Bago Aplaya including those in the areas of Barangays Ulas, Puan and Dumoy will be affected.

The power interruption will also result to water interruption as the Davao City Water District pumps in Dumoy and Bangkal will be affected by the disruption.

The power interruption was scheduled in Nov. 6 as earlier advised, but DLPC said it was postponed “due to unavoidable circumstances”. (davaotoday.com)
