Duterte’s visit in Tokyo to boost PH’s infrastructure programs  

President Duterte described his visit to Tokyo as the "most productive and engaging" because was able to clinch $9 billion worth of pledge of assistance and investments worth $6 billion.

Davao’s Diversion Road clearing operations pass 48-hour deadline

Operations to clear the Diversion Road here from mud and debris flow due to a landslide that struck at dawn on Friday, October 6, have passed City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio's 48-hour deadline. The city government at 5pm Sunday released an advisory that the Diversion Road will remain closed on Monday, October 9, "because the portion of Shrine Hills where the landslide occured has not been declared safe for passage by the engineers due to the clearing operations."
