DAVAO CITY — Stop. Breathe. Contemplate. And eat samosa. Samo-what, you might ask.
Samosa is much like the Filipino empanada (pie). The only difference is the spice, which can be quite hot, and the vegetarian filling.
Samosa is not common in Davao City. In fact, we think the only place you can buy these pies is at the Indian Mini-Mart (House of Spices), just across the Saint Paul Church in Juna Subdivision, in Matina.
