Davao City eyes simple celebration of Kadawayan

The city government said it will veer away from the usual grandiose celebration of Kadayawan festival in the past years and will make this year's festival “simple and meaningful”.

Muslims celebrate ‘timely, relevant’ Eid’l Fitr in Davao

To mark the end of the month-long fast during Ramadan, hundreds of Filipino Muslims here gathered and celebrated Eid’l Fitr at the Tionko Football Field in Agro-Foundation College of the Philippines this Wednesday, June 6.

The City Government of Davao is now coordinating with the private sector to prepare for the Kadayawan Festival to be held third week of August.
